    Well what a day, another early start. Lux bus tour collected us at 8.00am for 1-1/2 trip to Hollywood. It was 32 today with a dry heat! Travelling along the freeway the thing I noticed was the single palm tree, they seemed to be at every block. The smog was very thick all most blocked out the mountain ranges.     ... was fantastic. Even the guys driving around in the vintage car singing ragtime were infectious. While we were waiting to cross a parade they were doing a big samba number and looking around there wasn’t a still person in the audience. All a-toe-tappin’.

    ... there is already quite a crowd. We manage to find a good spot though, with a good view. While Lavinia holds our spot, I take the kids for a bathroom break, and to get some dinner.
