... sweet time getting down but let me tell you it was exhausting. Not just physically but mentally. We were so focused on every step that our brains were fried when we got to the bottom and our legs were shaking. We happily got back to our Westy and the campsite let us use their showers. After an amazing hot shower and putting on dry clothes, we enjoyed a hot vegetable stew that hit the spot perfectly. We drove to Gardner Massachusetts to spend the night at ...

I never thought I'd find myself just 70 miles from her home in Massachusetts!!! She was SO SURPRISED when I called her and asked if we could stop by for a visit!! Walked across the car park to the 99 restaurant which had a great menu with reasonable prices. I had macadamia encrusted chicken with asparagus and rice, Wes a steak with carrots and baked potato. French fries and coleslaw were not the first options.

After dinner, walked across the road to the shopping centre to buy yoghurt from Big Y. It is a big supermarket which will have what we want for our lunch supplies tomorrow. It has long opening hours 7am to 11pm
