Our first stop lands us in Nashville, TN. Nashville was founded in 1779 and is named for Francis Nash, an American Revolutionary War hero. The city is home to many country music stars and is nicknamed "Music City". According to the 2010 census, Nashville has a population of over ...
... impression of downtown Nashville failed to charm me. One bar after another filled with tourists listening to all manner of ensembles playing mostly cover songs in four hour shifts for around $50 in tips. It's like busking indoors. Now, in the hotel and off to dinner to try a place that an alum from Vanderbilt suggested. So, catch you up from Blue Ash for my last entry.
See you all soon!
