On the lighter side...Dasha came to town! Dasha with her French husband, Stephan. This is a joy to see her and to fellowship and laugh and share with her again! She is doing great!

... I had simply wondered how I might go to that area after Barcelona.
Within a couple of days a Spanish family contacted me through the site
Workaway.com. They need me to take their girls to the beach for 3 hours in the
mornings and speak English to them. In return
I will have room and board and ample free time to explore the magical places
nearby: Cadiz, Tarifa, Tangier, Granada, Cordoba, Jerez and Seville. Perfect!
... my flight to Barcelona.
I signed up for a brunch at a local residence there through the
terrific site Eat With. I intend to intersperse my sightseeing with as many
local experiences as I can and to have those events happen more and more
through natural relationship building.

I spent three days in Seattle with Cath before meeting up with the rest of our team for our pre-tour. We stayed with awesome ultimate frisbee playing billets, courtesy of Greg and Eliot for organizing it. It was so nice staying in a huge apartment after spending 2 weeks in hostels. We were living with frisbee players who knew where we should go, what to avoid etc. We all bonded over a throw down at the park, home cooked dinner and one luxury ...
