The gardens really were great. For two hours we explored each section and took hundreds of photos. We learned as we went that in the 1920's the area was converted from a limestone quarry to a garden and that over 50 gardeners are needed to maintain the property. We spent Monday walking around some of the trails in Ucluelet. It was raining all morning and into early afternoon which made us rather soggy.
