      While Maggie showered I checked the engine. All was okay except the alternator belt needed a slight tightening. I showered while Maggie readied the boat for travel. We got underway at 0930 and almost immediately fell in behind a tug and two helpers moving two big cranes and some big yellow cylindrical tanks.       ... I think they were either test flights or radar planes because they kept going up, circling and coming right back down. We got back to the car at around 430 and drove to a nearby campsite. It had gotten cold outside and we quickly took less than hot showers that left my teeth chattering. Chris thought I was being a wussy until he took his shower. Haha! Our campsite was dark and quiet and we had free power that night so we played videogames to our hearts ...

      ... and snatched up a fish just like that...then he walked gracefully off the dock.

      We left the dock at 11 after a trip to the grocery store and refueling. I have to tell you about the courtesy car it was a 1995 Buick station wagon, what a gem (see picture ) :-). The further south we get the more "how ya all doing " we get I love the South everyone is super friendly.
