      ... a long day, almost without rain (as predicted) except at the very first of the trip. We hastily secured Rhiannon. Maggie put together some delicious tuna melt, and we relaxed with a feeling of accomplishment for completing a long trek with a little navigational challenge at the end.       ... other went without a hitch. We have read each other our emails, blogged, and shared our inner most concerns. Not a day went by, Drew didn't ask me what I learned & truthfully, couldn't put it in words. Our politics and life dreams are on same page & much more to see and do.       ... a few going into the forest and this area was known for bear hunting. I don’t know what I am supposed to be more scared of, the bears or the hunters. Anyway we didn’t end up spotting either and the hike was quiet. Well sort of quiet. The National Forest was right on the edge of an army air base so there were jets taking off every few minutes. At one point in the hike we were right under where they take off so it was very loud and very cool ...

      ... and snatched up a fish just like that...then he walked gracefully off the dock.

      We left the dock at 11 after a trip to the grocery store and refueling. I have to tell you about the courtesy car it was a 1995 Buick station wagon, what a gem (see picture ) :-). The further south we get the more "how ya all doing " we get I love the South everyone is super friendly.
