... fog, but that didn’t matter to us. We walked out to the first rock outcropping and as we looked down we couldn’t believe what we saw…. Aggregating anemones were attached to the bottom of the outcropping and further down was a beautiful sunflower sea star. That made the trip worthwhile right away. ... generated by the Good Friday Earthquake came ashore along the coast of the Pacific Northwest. The subsequent flooding inundated parts of Cannon Beach and washed away the highway bridge located on the north side of city.
