... and the visitor center was the coolest building. It was adobe style, and it looked like it was hand-crafted out of clay. We rented some sleds and then headed further into the park. In case you don't know, the White Sand Monument is a series of hills and mountains that are covered in a white sand. Despite it being 100 degrees out, the sand remains cool to the touch.
