... and I went to bed very happy.

We woke up to an yet another amazing meal. This time it was a delicious breakfast of poached egg in a cup of white toast - under the poached egg, was Canadian bacon and the bearnaise sauce was on top. If that wasn't enough, there was bacon on the side!

Our bellies full for the day (almost), we left Jan and Patrick's beautiful home and headed for Cape Cod.

Summary

Caught the ferry back to Falmouth, picked up our car and drove 70 miles in an hour to Newport.

Highlights

Woke up with sore heads and no hot water in the shower, super bad combo. It was 12.30 pm and way past check out, so we packed and bolted to the ferry without showering.

Thankfully the gods were on our side as there was a ferry leaving in 5 minutes so we made a run for it from the hotel. We made it just in time.
