... section of housing at this site. A large mound where not only burial remains but a number of pearls and linen were found here. Some have theorized that at least one of the families that lived here had a higher status in the community, although there is no evidence of that in the housing area.

Drizzling all day today but warmer than yesterday. 106 miles with lovely scenery. Small rolling hills.
Lots of different people joining to cycle with friends, a number temporarily were misplaced but the game of find the missing cyclist always ended well. An ABB alumni was on the roadside at 95 miles giving out cold ...

Got a little bit of a late start this morning but had a good time at Fort Ancient looking at the ruins of an ancient community. Lots of earthworks visible all around the region, two calendar mounds that marked the summer and winter solstices. Very good museum that went way past how the Paleo-Indians would have lived, although it gave lots of information about that as well. Moved into the wars with France and the British colonists as well, and spoke of some small communities ...

As some of you know, you are required to go through psychological/personality/leadership testing when you decide you want to become a ministry. The lady who shared my results with me told me that she had never seen a result like mine on the J-P scale of the Myer-Briggs. (J's are meticulous planners, P's are more "go with the flow" types.
