... About half of the 2200 employees are Amish. The Jayco Company orientated with the brainstorm/dream of an Amish family in their barn. It is now in it's 3rd generation, Next stop was an Amish Cheese factory and we all did justice to the samples. This paid off for the store as we left with a cheese purchase. ... to quaint Goshen, IN today. Great little restored town. Had lunch at a local bakery/restaurant/deli/butcher shop. Quite a combination, but excellent food. Tomorrow a day trip to Middlebury, IN to tour Jayco RV factory. Then on to Shipshewana,IN that boasts the largest flea market in US and is run by the Amish. Today Mike and Stephanie went water skiing. She totally showed him up!
We just spent the day trying to recoup from last night. Tonight we get to do it all again!
Several of the neighbors put on firework shows on the fifth and also on the weekend following the fourth. Both the fourth and the weekend after come complete with a hog roast and a day of partying.
