Today was the last day of the Backroads adventure and ended with a short/relaxing ride prior to saying our goodbyes. After a nice breakfast we all got on our bikes for a ride through Bruges. I caught the tram and the metro to get to the main train station for my train to bruge. And who do I bump into on the tram but the one person I know in Brussels, Eleanor! The day was quite foggy and cold even though it was supposed to be the best day of the week. It took about an hour to reach. Bruge is small and very easy to wander around. Apart from the fact that the city is filled with chocolate shops, which is always going to win over my heart ...
