    ... off the road to the white line by an inch. RACQ set about sorting us out, never have I been so pleased to have upgraded to the highest level of roadside assistance. I've had steak and chips, beer and have hot air belting out of our air con. system in a 3 bed apartment in the Mid City Motor Inn Ballarat.     ... in the wild weather with all our luggage would have been a nightmare so we were very grateful for the offer. Kerry drove our Prado one last time to Rebecca's and then handed it over.     Today we visited Sovereign Hill. It's an outdoor museum that tells the story of Ballarat's first gold mining town. The museum is classified as living history and has workers walking around dressed in clothes of the period. We went down in the mine and saw what working conditions were like for the gold minors.     ... today and I left Rod and Craig at our camp and drove into Gong Gong Reservoir for an hours bushwalk and an encounter with a local copperhead snake.
