Our first destination was badlands national park. This is approximately a 525 mile drive from Ames. We stopped at Sioux city for lunch and took one more break before. The kids were ...

Ames, Iowa

... flight, no worries there at least until I got to the airport. The flight was overbooked and they were asking for volunteers to take a later flight and get a $500 travel voucher. Why in the hell would you sell seats that have already been filled?!? It's only going to cause problems for crying out loud. I did also pick up my souvenir from Iowa state, it's a shirt that says 'Nothing tips like a cow'. Gotta love ...
