      ... then John thought he would try to climb the Rocca, the hill behind town. It cost four euros and was a bit of an effort but made it, see the pictures.       Interesting morning driving through Acireale to find a vet as Tia has a very weepy eye.       ... or bring headlights like Lois and Larry or a flashlight like we did. Our hotel does not have a restaurant, does have a restaurant recommendation but it is half way back up the mountain. I think the closer you are to the top the more expensive the hotel. We are paying €120 a night a good bit down the hill and you can see by my photos that it is a fairly steep hill with many steps.
