      ... waiting to be heated. The shop/gallery was full of beautiful pieces. We managed to limit ourselves to one plate and a small oil pourer. Both are being freighted directly home.

      ... a very cute baby boy Italian grow suit. We also saw a funeral at the Cathedral this afternoon - lots of people there. Back home via the funicular. Orvieto is definitely a town we would like to come back to and recommend it to all of you. BTW we are driving to Ambra tomorrow where we hope to have free accommodation for the next couple of weeks.       ... hilltop village, and like Panicale is a walled village. It's bigger though and today was celebrating "saffron" festival so the village was alive with everything "saffron"'.

      This included, but not limited to, gelato, soap, pasta...you name it, they had saffron in it or on it.
