      Last night I talked Craig into going back into Alberobello to see the Cemetary. It looked great from the outside (like an Egyptian temple) and it was totally unbelievable. It was All Saints Day but I have never seen as many flowers. There were thousands of bodies in tombs and it was beautiful. Clearly the Italians are even more into cemeteries and visiting their loved ones than they are in Adelaide. I felt guilty ...

      ... government provide accommodation and they receive a daily meal allowance. They are not permitted to work and most days you see and hear them playing soccer on nearby field, having a great time. They are young, not working, very little money, speak very little Italian, not a good long term position to be in for them or the communities. At least they aren't "imprisioned".

      ... cold outside and warm inside. It reminded me much of the time in New Zealand when I went to a pizzeria/pub, it had a roaring fire and was dark lit. It made me miss New Zealand. I think I am getting fatter, but I can't exactly tell. Speaking of getting fatter, I am going on a trip to Perugia tomorrow where I will go to a chocolate festival. I am looking forward to it. I think I am going to join a choir as well, cause why not?
