... for $37 each. Then a bus takes you just across the busy road and up the drive to the mansion, well actually not a mansion just a house. Amazingly he bought it when he was 21 and stayed there, it's not far back from the road and has other old houses behind. Inside it got weirder, it's all 70s but really tacky,some rooms lots of mirrors, the jungle room completely carpeted - ceiling too. Before we left Lexington, we stopped for a Geocache in a nearby park. There is a challenge cache at home for which I can qualify if I find, on one calendar day, two caches which are at least 500 miles apart. We will end the day in Hope, Arkansas, and there is a cache in a lamppost at the Walmart there which is about mile from the hotel and 671 miles from Lexington. ... pictures. My lack of interest in art is mainly due to the poor grades I received in junior high art class.

This was the last Presidential Library and Museum on this trip. Adding in my visit to the Kennedy and Truman Libraries, I have now enjoyed 10 of the 13 National Archive and Records Administration administered libraries. Being retired and lazy, my trip home will include one night in Nashville and then home on Thursday.

... steak with grilled shrimp. Paul had steak and a stuffed jacket potato which he said was really good.

Next day I went to mass at the local Catholic church St. Mark's.
The folk there were very friendly and I was cordially welcomed as soon as I stepped into the church. The priest was a missionary one with a grest sense of humour.

Shortly after we woke up, we went to the visitors center for the park and rented a canoe. The park ranger delivered it down to the lake for us and we spent the next couple house paddling around the lake. They had a path marked around the lake with buoys for kayakers to follow.
