... A very nice and easy to talk to person.
Arrived at Calgary airport, found the taxi stand and caught one to my airbnb destination. Calgary is very spread out and the airport seemed miles away from suburbia. Found the place with no problem, the host wasn't home but had made contact re the key so all good. I found my room, checked the wifi connection as you do and sent off some emails.
About half an hour later another traveller ...

... three weddings and two funerals that weekend and that all the hotels in the area were full. Sounded just like the film - four weddings etc. .... But this was something we hadn't counted on and meant that we had to go into Calgary itself and it was getting late! We stopped at the side of the road and decided to go on Internet ourselves! ... s old house and it was hard to recognize as there had been color changes and landscape changes. Still a very nice house in a nice neighborhood. In fact, as we drove around the city itself all the old neighborhoods are really lovely and well kept. You don't find too many neglected homes and many of the older home have been updated and are so cute. This was there ward and they were just as surprised to see us standing there. ... are nearly empty and they have speed limits that make SENSE!
It's an easy drive to Great Falls from the border and we make good time under the Big Sky.. This time we are not staying the night in Great Falls, as Jim has a date with the tire guys in the morning in Helena. So.. its a quick stop in Great Falls for some lunch and we are soon back on the road on the short cruise to Helena.
