... spectacular mountains all around the lakeside setting. Beautiful yellow butterfly's everywhere, and gophers just standing watching you, and deer in people's gardens. Don't feed the deer they get unafraid and aggressive and will lash out without provocation. Thought perhaps one could cull a few, but no. A waterfall roars into the village park that is also a outdoor theatre area. And did I mention the Prince of Wales ...
Today, we got to sleep in late before we drove for a total of six hours in the 50 mile per hour wind! We stopped a little ways into the drive to see the Simms store that Clay wanted to see. We got to look at the room where the waders are made, and Clay got some bumper stickers for his hamper and three hats all for free! For lunch we stopped at Spectators for some good burgers! ... prone to cracking, so after some deliberation I have decided to accept his offer of four new wheels. We will head north to check out Kalispell and then return here early next week, to pick up our new wheels.
As an aside , we are watching the local TV channel, and it appears that the cost of a parking ticket is going up, its currently $2.!!!!! Also last evening the city council announced that the land taxes( rates) are increasing on average by $16 per annum.
