30 June 315 miles Salmon to Boise ( nearly via Arco ) This day was supposed to be a great ride revisited. And it was. Mostly. Started off sweeping corners, no one around, fanging along. We got into camp late - it's a KOA, so it's lovely, but the pitches were titchy - and the dinner group got our grub on whilst Graeme collected money from the rest of us for food kitty, the hotel in Las Vegas (it's called Bill's Gambling Hall...which sounds dodgy to me), and our activities for the next two weeks; we're going horse riding, on a jeep tour of Monument Valley, in a helicopter over the Grand Canyon, in a limo in Vegas, and whitewater ...

... bison, and pronghorns. The dirt road also climbs up on top of the glacial mountains, and you get an unbelievable view! It was great, not crowded at all, and a must see! It felt like a private yellowstone! Also it was mating season, so you got to see the bulls chasing the cows around,and even pawing at the ground, sizing each other up! It was intense, and we were wary about getting too ...
