... yep, I did have fries with it!!!! And they sold beer and wine too! Along the way we allowed Greg to take an exit to a car and tractor museum which turned out to be quite a gem, with over 250 cars and dozens of cars, tractors, motorbikes, outboards and any other old stuff you could imagine! Needless to say we had to drag him out some time later, but it was typical of the museums we have seen everywhere we have been and I spent some time chatting to one of the caretakers ...

... wrong. Yesterday, after getting gas and looking for a grocery store, Wilma dropped us off in front of a cemetery with the line "You have arrived at your destination." As a result, we had to track back to the highway through corn fields over gravel roads, kicking up dust while the car windows had just been washed. It gave us some nice pictures though.

... about 6, and we covered quite a distance. We crossed the Mississippi River, and we crossed through Iowa, and covered almost all of Minnesota, and stayed the night in Jackson, Minnesota. We travelled the I-20 through Illinois up to Waterloo where we took the 218 up to the I-90. We traveled the I-90 for the rest of the way. We crossed back over the Missouri River in South Dakota, and made it into Minnesota. Plains, farms, wind turbines, cows...

We stopped a little bit earlier than expected, but found a hotel right off the highway just as the kids really needed a break or sleep, and went for a great late night hot tub and swim. We'll drive extra tomorrow.

... with a toll about every 15 miles) seriously i dont get it. Next state was Wisconsin, very beautiful state every time we drive through it I always enjoy it. Guess what no tolls, love Wisconsin and the Cheeseheads! Final state for today was Minnesota. Lots and lots of wind mills and construction.
