Did you wonder about the name of the boat,,,,Perla? The boat was built forty or so years ago by Joey's father, Francis Favaloro. Joey's mother, Pam, would occasionally go out sailing with them and get sprayed and wet and wind blown causing Francis to tease her about looking like the old cartoon character Poor Pitiful Pearl. Also, Perla in Italian means "jewel of the sea".
