This was just a 2 night stopover in Omaha. We spent the day buying Christmas presents for Julie, her family, and her extended family who we would be spending our first White Christmas with. After travelling for 6 months without being able to but anything a little retail therapy was quite fun. Hours were spent finding just the right gifts for each person. The day started off with the solo group heading out at 0600 to get some miles down before it got too hot. Their plan in a manner of speaking as it did not get hot today all of the way to Interior, SD. The "Chuck Wagons" got underway some what later with a 0730 start time and managed to arrive at the destination within 45 minutes of the solos. Hoo-hah! The ride today was about as good as a majority interstate ride can be. The roads ...

... and then the "Chuck Wagons" separated from the solos so they could go and have fun. Unfortunately, they soon found out that there are two curves in Nebraska and they are in the western part.
