    ... to Venice beach, after trying to find a car parking space that didn't cost a small fortune a city space came up right on the beach front, boom! We walked along the Venice Boardwalk which is apparently an 'essential LA experience'. We watched the skaters in the skate park, a beach front basketball game, had a look at the graffiti walls (only place in LA where it is legal) and saw the body builders working out. We actually really liked Venice ...

    ... and Hollywood Boulevard, photos attached, had to dodge the traffic to get the photo with the Hollywood sign. Was a lot of fun, Josephine insisted I get those pictures.

    went down to Target to get a few things, completely forgot about the tax added on at the checkout, Deano did warn me too. Bought a pair of thongs for $18's. I found things quite expensive, cost me $12 to replace my $5 water bottle and a can of dove deodorant was $9, oh well here for a good time not ...

    ... just attention seeking. Hopefully it doesn't affect our transfer at LAX...........
    You will be glad to hear it didn't! There was ************e in customs, we used the new automatic machines for the passport processing, told a customs officer that the reasons for our visit was not to overthrow the US govt and within 30 minutes of landing were walking out the front doors of the airport; we had made it into the USA but our flights were still not over..

    ... for some reason. Three very cool things happened.

    First, I got hit on by the „guy from The Rocky Horror Picture Show"
    Second- we went to a.... mall? I think it was a mall? Anyway, there was Hot Topic. And the kid working there (he couldnīt have been older than 20) started talking to me, asking me where Iīm from etc... Turns out his parents came to America from Czechoslovakia! Yay
