It was so hot and humid that we knew it was going to be a good storm chase day, we woke up to 2 super-cells on the radar at 8am! Went to Lincoln for BBQ lunch and to get Laurie's camera cleaned before getting into position around Columbus. Waukee, IA to Yankton, SD. Iowa is flat, windy, green farmland. So gorgeous, except for the hundreds of huge wind turbines. Lewis and Clark were in Yankton, SD. We traveled part of the route of the Corps of Discovery which is what Lewis and Clark's expedition was called. One of them being a bar that has a punching bag game....you punch a bag similiar to a speed bag and see how hard u can hit it. Jarod wanted to play it because he has the record for strongest punch on the damn game at 976...and the game only goes to 999.
