For the last couple of days that we were in Spain, we went to Madrid. We had an amazing time touring the Royal Palace on our last full day. It was so beautiful and I was so sad I wasn't allowed to take any pictures of it. We walked around for a long time that day, and I realized something I would not miss is the heat in Madrid. ... even if it means I can only speak Spanish with Ashley too. I think I can attain this goal as long as I make an effort to speak Spanish outside of the classroom most of the time.

We will keep everyone posted when we get to Madrid how our first day in Spain went! We are both so excited and BEYOND grateful for this opportunity to improve ourselves and to immerse ourselves in such a wonderful culture.
