... Our stateroom was small, very clean, comfortable for 2!!

Beautiful sunset ad we left and the sea was smooth - lovely looking at the northern stars again. Rob will have then worked out before we leave Alaska.

The highlight of our first night was seeing the Northern Lights - wow

Great weather, cool but dry and flat seas.

We did a great deal of walking (it seemed like uphill both ways!) on this day, but like the long bus ride, it was more than worth ...

... a total of about 9 days! I am so thankful to God that he kept us all safe and harm free as we drove so many miles and drove so many dangerous roads. We crossed so many mountains too, and so quickly accidents can happen. I'm thankful we could have this opportunity to see such vast and amazing creations. And I'm thankful for the awesome time we've had, and the company of each other! :) So from Lynden, Washington, I'm over and out! 4600kms (2910 mi) 9 ...

... call to the Travelodge for an airport pick up we were in our motel at around 6pm on 24 September; a 23 hour trip.
Had tea at the Charles Dickens Hotel;a 20% discount from the motel. Yvonne and halibut and salad and I had meatball lasagna. Plus a glass of wine and an Alexander Keith's India Pale Ale.
Very tired. Slept for a while but woke up around midnight so we read and played ...
