... ferry terminal at Fairhaven. The historic town of Fairhaven is interesting and we hope to get to discover more tomorrow before embarking.
Used a few taxis and they ALL speak English and have been most helpful. The locals are really friendly and helpful, this is a nice town and people seem happy.

More once we reach Alaska-'north to Alaska as the rush is on!!

... wall, he even helped Nigel knock the dents out of the bumper, and has just taken us to see some humming birds. Tomorrow we take the 8.30am ferry to Vancouver Island – in Canada.

Too many photos to put in the blog, so I've added them at the end. If you read this, we'd love to hear from you. It's almost two months since we left England and this is one of the few ways we can keep in touch with friends and family.

... The roads after the crossing were very small and wove through farm country. It surprised us that coming into the USA was so rural, but that's the way it was.

We found our campground and settled in - glad to be "home" again. We detached the car so that we could do some grocery shopping and the car wouldn't start! It was a long trip over a mountainous terrain today, so we used the Brake Buddy a lot ...
