As you saw on previous posts there were some spots of rain and the storm in Minnesota on our way out, but all in all was the best we could have asked for. We got there by 11AM and stayed until after 7PM. We were lucky: On Wednesdays they're open until 9PM. Never assume things though: The parking garage closed at 7PM, and we didn't get ...

More states, more baseball, more camping

We left South Bend early so we could drive 4 1/2 hours across Indiana and into Ohio to watch the Akron Rubber Ducks play an afternoon game (Sophie really wanted to see two of her favorite things - baseball and rubber ducks - together). Canal Park is a great little ballpark and the Rubber Ducks won, so we had fun, but there wasn't a single rubber duck to be found in the souvenir shop. From there we drove on, out of Ohio, a little way through Pennsylvania, and into New York for a camping ...
