... For those who are curious, I started this blog for family members and really, anyone else who wants to keep up with me while I go on this European adventure. I hope y'all enjoy reading it and I am sorry in advance if it is somewhat lacking. I will try to update as often as I can but I am kind of a noob at all of this blogging. Wish me luck!

... mmm enchiladas. Then Evan and I went for a walk downtown and poked around the Alamo a few shops and along the river walk. Then we headed to the Shambhala Meditation Centre to practice together. Morgan met up with us at the centre and we went out for dinner. I tried fish and shrimp tacos quite good! Then a jazz band started playing so overall good food, good music and good conversation! ... sounded pretty friendly. It sure was! 16oz (more than a schooner) of citrus vodka, midori melon liqueur, coconut rum and banana liqueur with pineapple juice. Despite serving lethal drinks, the Rainforest Cafe was really a themed family restaurant. It was canopied with huge inside rainforest inhabited by life-size animated creatures. ... was a 5-hour trip including stops for lunch and gas but it was so much fun we did it twice.

We also visited the River Walk twice, once in the daytime and once at night. It was especially beautiful at night with 1 million twinkling Christmas lights hung from the trees and all along the walk. They even had carolers in the riverboats too. It is lovely.
