... cool and watched the film 'the giver'. After that I packed up my bags and got an early night. I was up at 6am, Diego kindly drove me into San Antonio to get my bus headed for New Orleans. The journey was scheduled to take 12 hours in total with a few breaks in between. Even though we had they alarm on for 8am, I could not wake up for the life of me! That's a first since I've been here, and we have had loads of sleep in the last couple of days with all our lie ins! Ross woke me back up at about 8.30, we had to go downstairs and get some breakfast in the lobby as it was included in this hotel. We spent two days in San Antonio. After all the walking we did yesterday, we did more driving today. We did the missions trail. You can ride a bike along a 12.5 trail that runs next to the San Antonio river but we decided to just drive. The mission trail takes you to 4 historical missions that were built in the 1700s. The cool thing is that all of them still function as churches today and you can attend mass every Sundays. At San Jose, there was a wedding going ...
