... local families at the park grilling and just spending time with one another. There was a coffee shop and visitor center that we stopped at to get post cards, coffee and tea. After this we took pictures next to the Golden Gate Bridge and just sat, talked and soaked in the view while we waited for the boys to meet up with us. By this time Sean had flown back home to San Diego after making the trip with us. After the boys met us with the mini-van we hopped in and headed Northeast to ...

... had to check in for Milan to Zurich (a one hour flight) and then Zurich to SF. All went well. I queued up for 40 mins to get some tax back on some cushion covers and a bag I bought in France. One in the queue I saw the sign saying you needed to have the goods on you (just like when you do this in Aussie). The retailer hadn't tocld me that and they were safely in my case on the way to being loaded onto the plane! But I observed ...

After a long wait for one that had enough space, we finally caught another cable car ...

... good from those three tastes at Mondavi I decided I would check out my parents' favorite winery from when they were out here in April. V. Sattui is a smaller operation in the St. Helena area of Napa that only sells wine out of this location and isn't distributed to stores. V. Sattui doesn't have a tour but they do have a fantastic deal for a tasting. I walk up to the tasting bar and the talkative server helped me choose 6 wines to try. I tried a couple of whites then stayed mostly with ...

... Kent wanted it named for conservationist John Muir.

After a couple of hours there it was sadly time to go, and we headed back down toward the bay. Instead of going back over the bridge right away though we stopped at a small harbour town called Sausalito and had a wander around the pretty bay area. I got some proper chips for the first time in months and ate them by the sea! Love being by the ocean, it reminds me of home.
