... there sits a small but very pretty lighthouse and an impressive fog bell. Nice country all the way with the architecture all not surprisingly typically Maine. There are some really beautiful homes right throughout this area and we are seeing it at a great time. Sharon and Lou (and Stitch and Natasha)have been great hosts. This has been a really relaxing stop on our trip. Time for lunch now ...

... safe arrival at their most beautiful home, right on the lake. Google 364 Shore Road, Northport if you are interested. The rest of the day was spent just relaxing and catching up on old times. Really pleasant day that ended with a little too much wine and a great 4th July Bar B Que. ... and put where its supposed to be, its close enough and we even have some room left - big shock to me.

During one of my trips to Rockland, I parked as close to the Atlantic Ocean as I could without getting the tires wet - and will do the same thing in northern California to show the Pacific. See photo.

Access to Wifi will be hit and miss, we'll check in as we can - for the next 3 months.

Time to wake the dog.
