It's a 30mile area so its easiest to drive from spot to spot and follow the progression of the battle in your car. It worked out well as it was cold outside anyway so walking would not have been fun. We were even fortunate to witness the soldiers fall into formation and fire two cannons three times as a demonstration of what soldiers faced while engaging the enemy. The sounds of two cannons was felt in my stomach and made me jump. I cannot even imagine being able to get used to the sound and feeling of cannons being fired nonstop during a war.
