The long day of driving included several encounters with slowed traffic and construction. We finally arrived in Gettysburg. We decided to drive through town to see what eating establishments were still open - trying to avoid the quick burger & fries menu. We ended up in the park and decided to go see the Eternal Flame. Traylor and I have re-gone over our Virginia Program at Oxford notes, while talking about strategy and reading lists to get done in the next week.

On our drive from Pittsburgh to Gettysburg we stopped at the flight 93 memorial (unfinished) and then headed on our way. In Gettysburg we got there a little late so we checked into our final hotel (all cabins and such were booked) and drove to get dinner. We ate at TGI Fridays.
