All my bags are packed and I'm ready to go - but what about the weather?

The plane is scheduled to leave Heathrow at 11.00 tomorrow. I say "schduled" because the weather is decidedly uncertain at the moment and they don't seem capable of keeping the airport open unless the sun is shining, there's 31 days in the month and air traffic controllers in France aren't on strike !

But, hey! I shouldn't be so ...

... t look too good, and there was even mention of parts of Queensland being evacuated due to flooding. Not a good omen. But heyho, we will take what we get and make the most of it.

... in May it seemed like a good idea to hop across from Australia instead of flying home and then back again. Remind me not to have good ideas will you? The plane fares were a King's ransom. Back to the drawing board with that one!

We drove 480 miles yesterday to get to Grimsby about 2000, just in time for Rob's rarebit :)))

On Christmas Eve we headed to Lincoln early to have a look around and make sure we were in position to get good seats for the Carol service in the evening.
