The rolling terrain around the lakes is wonderful and the air enriched by the surrounding green fields! It's great to be in an Eco-system that's working well. Here even a simple act like breathing requires a lot less energy! Like always, when energy is up, spirits are up as well.

... is a fantastic Route 66 Museum in this town. Our first glimpse of the museum was a huge Route 66 sign right off the road. This set the tone for the whole museum (although all we saw was the outside exhibits as the museum closed 20 minutes before we got there).

Gray skies, lightening, rain, and wind...welcome to the east/midwest Kristine! It was a pretty unevenful day at the RV park. We did manage to get some pool time in, and Kristine got some sun in as well. The rest of the day was spent watching movies.
I spent most of the day - I mean ALL of the day on the phone and laptop. Someone has got to pay for this trip!
Well, tomorrow we head off to St. Louis.
