... coming and going... I asked for water... an at first a bit grouchy worker.. blurted out 'What do you want'? I explained to him my plight of thirst...

anyway he wound up being friendly after all and took me in one of the company trucks to a well.. and I pumped out some potable water...

Our Adventure Begins!

A travel blog entry by ontheroadwgps on Sep 07, 2014

Our day started at 10:30 a.m. meeting the St. Louis group at the airport. After some bagels and coffee Yvette and I met up with the rest of the group at the gate. It was great to see some familiar faces and to meet some new people too. Our next flight takes us to Chicago O'Hare airport where we will meet up with fellow travelers from Denver, Houston and Omaha.

Don't want to miss the flight!

God Bless,

Today we started the day with a 41/2 hour drive to St. Louis, but it was worth it! The Gate Way Arch is in St. Louis and it is huge. What an architectural feat. We went up in a little pod, like in a spaceship, it only fits five people so, Elsie sat on someone's lap. The view from the top of the arch was amazing we could see ...
