    ... is large and most sites are in nicely treed areas. There are a few campers but again we have it mostly to ourselves. We took a short walk around the campground then down to the lake. There was one particularly nice viewing area that allowed us to see an amazing variety of birds and waterfowl. Geese giant White Egrets and Blue Herons were our favourite. After that we settled in for the evening. We'd like to be in Wisconsin tomorrow ...

    ... on the show, Aminaa and Zaya, before gates opened. They were both beaming after the show ended, so I'm pretty sure they had a great time...haha.

    My mom and uncle had ringside seats for the second show and my uncle especially just took it all in. He's seen photos and heard us talk about our experiences here but I think it wasn't until he stepped on the lot that he was able to fully conceptualize what our circus world ...

    My grandma passed away peacefully surrounded by her family yesterday early afternoon. Thank you to everyone for their well wishes and prayers.

    Today is John and my 13th wedding anniversary. A bit bittersweet, but pretty wonderful to spend it with family. Our family bought us a gift card to a local restaurant for an anniversary dinner tonight. There is so much love here right now.
