Sometimes, you wake up with the best of intentions but nothing goes your way. That's kind of what happened to us on Saturday. We intended to do a nice 9km hike, the Spinc and Glenealo Valley, in Glendalough. We piled in the car bright and early and pulled out of our parking space. Back at the B&B, we lit the fire in one of the common rooms and started up a game of Euchre, but we barely got through one game before Little D demanded attention, and we all headed off to "bed." Where "bed" for us involved Little D wrestling with daddy on the floor in the extra comforter until quarter til two, and then falling asleep there. He had a fairly decent night (only one wakeup) after that, though.
