In the morning the Daddy disappeared as usual to have his breakfast. When he was gone, BJ turned to AJ and said, "Ok, tell me, what happened?"

"Well," said AJ, "I won't make fun of you anymore for wanting to be careful. I was exploring the Ottawa shop looking at the souvenirs."

"I know, I told you to stay with the back-pack."

"I know, I know, anyway. I was looking at the souvenieirs and I saw a really nice one with the Canada flag on it, you know, like the big one we ...

12:17 AM 3343 miles 181 gallons of gas 61 hours on the road (drive time) We left Pennsylvania at 9:00 am today (actually yesterday). 15 hours later, here we are. The crew got some sleep the last few hours of the drive. Eli sat up front with me cause he wasn't feeling great. We had 3 hours of conversation ranging from what he's looking forward to in 6th grade to foreign policy and economics. Gotta love his curiosity. What a way to finish the ...

Flew into Milwaukee and caught the train to Chicago while Tracy takes the rental car to Elkhorn. Thursday - Brookfield Zoo was great as always. Dolphin show got us soaked. Weather was perfect. Friday- rented a Divvy bike downtown. $7 for the day, but you have to return it to a bike rack somewhere in town within 30 minutes. I road from the train station to buckingham fountain, along the lakefront to The Field Museum and put it in a rack there while I visited the museum. Then ...

Woke up this morning and were surprised our camper had not been lifted and relocated by the mosquitoes. Since we could not hang out outside the camper, due to our buzzing/biting little friends, we left early for House On The Rock, located in Spring Green, WI. Simply amazing ! Built by Alex Jordan, it is an architectural wonder perched on a 60 ...

Left Indiana this morning and traveled most of day to reach our destination in Stoughton, WI. Passed zillions of corn fields as far as we could see. Arrived about 4pm at Lake Kegonsa State Park. Lovely woody sites which would be perfect if we could keep the Mosquitos from levitating us off the ground. Enjoyed walking through the park tonight-all body parts sprayed or covered. Full day planned tomorrow. Has been great traveling with our good friends. Life us ...
