... apparently. We walked about Wall Street and the FinDin (financial district....they call it this) for some time and I got to see the Trump Building, Berkshire Bank, Chase head office, Bloomberg and the like. Ilze's mate, Sarah stays on Wall Street in a high rise fancy building. So we got to hang out there for a bit and see the view from the top...360 degree view of Manhattan...helipads and golf strips every which way. Sarah climbed on board our mission ...

... Wow!

From the Big Apple, with all its noise, traffic and bigness, we are now in the small country town of Cambridge, Minnesota. From what we've seen, it is almost opposite of NY. It is green, quiet and back to nature. It;'s almost like home.

We went up to the very top 70th floor viewing deck. It was a spectacular sight to see the city all lit up all around. ...

Monday 8th September 2014, day 40 of 50: A little cooler this morning, but still pleasant. Just when we thought we had the trains down pat, we ended up at Brooklyn - were on an express which went straight through the station we wanted to get off at. No problem, we just changed platforms and went back to Spring Street to go to Little Italy which is smaller than ...

A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder

After a slow start, we decided to go up to Broadway to see if we could find a matinee. We found the Walter Kerr Theatre was showing "A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder". Having bought the tickets we had a quick bite to eat across the street at Hurley’s Saloon. The musical was a melodrama and we enjoyed ...
