Nessie

... Nessie tour happening at 1pm. Went back to the apartment and after breakfast explored around the Abbey a little more, found the monks burial ground at the back near the Loch behind some hedges, it was a little spooky even in the daylight. After lunch went around to the boat in the canal and thought we might be the only customers when all of a sudden 3 or 4 mini buses pulled up with tourists from Edinburgh , and then we were about ...

We arrived at our accommodation after driving through the Highlands and plenty of snow. The Highland Club is an old converted Abbey . We were in the old school house in self contained accommodation but with access to the old Abbey and its surrounds. We have two nights stay here and that is a bit of a relief, not having to move on in the morning. Nessie hunting is on the agenda for ...

Road takes us along many rivers and lochs winding in and out of bays ...

Last night, I didn't get in until about midnight, which would have been too late if I didn't have to get up at 7 am to go on my 12 hour tour. Yes, you read that correctly, I went on a 12 hour bus tour. Before I get on with the tour, last night I went to an American style diner (lol) for drinks with a girl I ...
