    The second day was a fun jam packed and memorable day with equally wonderful weather to match.

    At the start of the Cape Cod peninsular is a town called Sandwich which we intended on paying only a short visit to but ended up staying for the majority of the day!

    ... felt like rush hour at home. You wonder is it an accident or what and no as usual you get to a point and there's nothing. We saw some absolutely beautiful countryside.     ... see the water plumes of whales not far off the beach. Difficult to actually see the whales even through the telescopes at the visitors centre. Provincetown has been the highlight of our time in Cape Cod, quite old but with new life from the gay community and bohemian themes, and another great place to scoff lobster!

    ... opening to the public at 2:30 THAT AFTERNOON! The families of the crew and the passengers had been there in the morning for a private ceremony to dedicate the memorial. We had no idea of the humbling day the visit would be. As we stood in line at 3:00, we heard people talking to others in line that their son was one of the pilots of the plane!
