Third stop - Bed and Breakfast in Inverness with no breakfast and no heating! (doing well so far)

33. Haggis and Hootanannys
... to try some haggis and local ale so we were a bit surprised to find that this Scottish pub was serving Thai food. But nevermind! We got to see a fantastic Highland Pipe and Drum band "Saor Patrol." Had a good laugh at their groupy (one drunken middle-aged lady with the hots for one of the drummers) too.
At the end of their set, Blair and I took a stroll along the river to play with the camera and take some night shots ...
Nessie doesn't like Christmas
... and wonder how their days are going and was sending out the love for them, partly wishing I could be back there with them. But as I still had so much to see of Europe I was also excited about everything to come.
We soon move on to see if Nessie - the loch ness monster is up and awake on this fine Christmas Day. Lizzy had prepared a special dance for us to call her out of the river. So there we are, rugged up, christmas hats ...
