During my 8 hour layover in Atlanta, Georgia I decided to go see the Martin Luther King Jr. memorial. He was an amazing person that led the American civil rights movement and changed history for many people with non violence and I wanted to learn more about him rather than in a book or TV show. Seeing this in person is a very different and rewarding experience.

I had a quinoa and Mediterranean salad and W had a Turkey Pita with salad and roast sweet potato hash. ... of relief, and at the same time, I felt sorrowful for the victims and their loved ones. I got a glimpse of the awful feeling...

My brother and I went to the airport today to greet mom and dad. It was such a nice reunion. We all decided that we should go back to Boston Marathon- all of us!

Our prayers and thoughts are with the victims and their family and friends.
