... our time in the park, we headed back to the metro and to the Market we visited the other day - Ben was on the lookout for Percebes (a type of goose-neck barnacles) and i was on the lookout for the freshest Mango I had ever had!! On our way back to the top of the park where we entered, we didn't leave without Ben carving our name in a cactus leaf and putting a lock on the love gate. Our love is now engraved on a cactus and locked on a gate in Park Guell!! ...
... bumping party on Plaša Commercial, preceded by a parade with all eight of the colorful "mascots" from each barri. It was a great party. (We want to introduce this tradition in Berkeley… with recycled paper confetti and biodegradable, organic balloons, of course.) By the time we had checked into our hotel it was dark, so we walked near to the hotel to find a reasonable restaurant recommended by Tripadvisor.
