Into the back country. We didn't really know what to expect heading to Algonquin Park. The Good ol' Canadian Tradition of Cottages!

Thinking we were in distress Jack jumped into the water (another thing he's scared of) and proceeded to run, swim and bound through reed beds all the way to the end. The day a puppy became a man!

A tough journey home

After making some adjustments to the luggage arrangements and moving some more weight up front, we were better able to fight the wind and finally arrived at the Portage Store in the early evening. We rewarded ourselves with a swim and some ice cream (Moose Tracks, of course).
