Cool place, right across the street from the cemetery. Great breakfast with a real retired Marshall. (kinda short though) Not much going on since it is a month before the season starts

We did know that they had a siren system to alert people to tornados. It was 12 noon so we assumed (and rightly so) that they were testing the system. When we were in Dodge, the Museum brochure alerted us that they would be testing the siren at noon Wednesday ...

Tonight we are going back to Boot Hill ( so called because wayward, sining, miscreant gunslingers who were killed in shootouts were buried in their boots ) for a meal, a gun fight and a show. Tomorrow more sight seeing of downtown historic dodge and more pictures to ...

Boy am I getting fussy of the Motels I sleep in now. On Route 50 they are few and far between. I went past a couple of sleezy looking Motels and kept going and saw the sign to Dodge. Was there last year and know they have good Hotels/Motels. Arrived in town around 7:30 could hardly see because of the sun/ Headed for Super 8 motel but there was a Days Inn next door and they match Super ...
