      Cool place, right across the street from the cemetery. Great breakfast with a real retired Marshall. (kinda short though) Not much going on since it is a month before the season starts

      We are on our sixth day and we are visiting the town of Dodge city which the famous Sheriff Earp it was soo cool. Then the next day we slept in and just hung around the cabin. In the morning we are leaving for East Trinidad. Its going to be 262 miles!!!! this is going to be a long drive! lol. we are getting gas and its costing ...

      ... was very interesting to see the history of Cowboys and Indians. We then wandered the small city seeing a few statues before looking for some lunch. We had exhausted just about everything in the city so we headed back to the hotel to do washing after managing to put it off for two weeks.

      We also were very productive in booking all accommodation for the next 3 weeks, and car hires. An early night had us up and ready at 4am to walk to the station for our 5.30 train to Raton.

      ... to Santa Fe, still was part of Mexico at the time. 500 of the miles were through Kansas. We continued on and met up with Robert and Joyce that evening at the Gunsmoke RV park in Dodge City Kansas. We had some dinner and watched a movie at their motorhome and called it a day. Friday was our full day there and we did all the tourist stuff.       ... the name of the place or town....They sold beer and a couple of drinks but no wine, kinda weird we thought....

      We then took our nightly trip for ice cream, last nights was so good from McDonald's that Jane and I choose the Mc Flurry's again and Katy wanted ice cream cone at DQ....Jane was buying because she lost the bet of how many miles from Ingall's it was to Dodge City.....
