Cool place, right across the street from the cemetery. Great breakfast with a real retired Marshall. (kinda short though) Not much going on since it is a month before the season starts

We also were very productive in booking all accommodation for the next 3 weeks, and car hires. An early night had us up and ready at 4am to walk to the station for our 5.30 train to Raton.

We continued on and met up with Robert and Joyce that evening at the Gunsmoke RV park in Dodge City Kansas. We had some dinner and watched a movie at their motorhome and called it a day. Friday was our full day there and we did all the tourist stuff. We had made reservations for the dinner show at Boot Hill that evening and spend the rest of the day on a trolly tour of the area and lunch at ...

We then took our nightly trip for ice cream, last nights was so good from McDonald's that Jane and I choose the Mc Flurry's again and Katy wanted ice cream cone at DQ....Jane was buying because she lost the bet of how many miles from Ingall's it was to Dodge City.....

Another great day on the road of my journey.....55 miles ...
