    An overcast day greeted us for the second day of our photo tour. Not quite the weather we wanted but better than rain. A very cool breeze made it seem colder than it actually was. Steve, our guide took us again on roads least travelled - old barns, covered bridges, quaint villages and a waterfall being on the agenda. We stopped for a break in Warren, New England's Nimbin.     ... They were built over corn stalks with round heads and hats. We saw all sorts of costumes including roaring 20’, the sixties, the 70s, etc., and outfits from different walks of life. A spokesperson for the village said, the kookier and brighter the outfit, the better. Villagers put these “leaf people” out at the autumn equinox and they attract visitors to the village.

    ... of Burlington and then a 14 minute ferry trip across the lake on a lovely evening with a beautiful sunset. Just perfect.

    Stopped into a sweet little place for a seafood dinner (fresh seafood from Maine) along the way and then it was home to our cheap and cheerful hotel for the night and time for retail round up!
