Crossed the Lake Champlain Bridge!

... walkways on both side of the bridge so...we walked across to Vermont & visited Chimney Point. Our first visit into the state of Vermont!!! We walked back to New York to climb the lighthouse before we drove across the bridge to the charming little village of Vergenes! We parked the truck downtown & walked around before heading out to Button Bay ...

... mountain then hiked the 1.25 mile/2000 feet to the top (our Fitbit told us we had climbed 118 flights of stairs, that'll clean out the pipes)!!! It was an incredible experience we'll never forget!!
Next we visited the North Pole & Santa's Workshop before heading to Lake Placid to see the lake & the Olympic Village!! It was another crazy day!!
Today we stayed close to the trailer & since it has warmed up to 82 degrees, we went swimming in Lake ...

We left Vermont at 1pm to begin our 7 week journey. Heading to New York City to stay with a dear friend Will Robb.

Will has Saturday planned out - highlight include: seeing Dinosaurs at The Natural History Museum and riding on the subway!

Day 5-7 Adirondack Mountains

... the night we lit a campfire and tried our new cast iron pie iron. Two slices of bread, spagettios, diced vegan meat and cheddar cheese in a cast iron pie maker….mmmmm. Half way through cooking our 5 star dinner it began to pour rain. It was another evening of scrambling to get everything put away. We brought our campfire dinner into the tent to eat and go to bed.

... with brick architecture and New England church spires. I mean, a lot of towering church spires. But boy, does that road slow you down. A good thing, I guess. Everything goes by too quickly.
