While listening to my most favorite song at the moment (Turtle, by Alana Davis), I've realized my trip has BEGUN!!!! It wasn't real until now. I'm sitting at my seat on my way to JFK airport, waiting for my dinner, and I don't really have much to say except that my excitement is finally here. No worrying, no doubting, just excitement. ... It is a relatively large country with a long coastline on both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. Besides the beautiful city of Capetown (which we have no time to visit on this journey) the attraction of the country is safari. Today my dad joined me and my mom in visiting Callaway Gardens! We stopped by Callaway Gardens' Country Shop first for the view and sample of country foods like grits and syrupy biscuits. According to the my parents, the food at the country shop restaurant is mediocre and expensive, but people go there for the view!
