... to get to the hotel. Apparently I viewed a whole section of the city that was not planned...I guess good exercise to help recover from my frustration. I then was able to find a laundromat as all my clothes, especially the biking clothes were in a need of a washing. We arrived in Ghent (Gent/Gand depending on what language you speak) late in the afternoon on the day that Belgium was playing Algeria in the World Cup. It felt like all residents of Ghent were making their way to a stadium or pub where the game was being shown on big screens. ... Karina brought out the two bikes that she had and we went out the front. Darren went to ride one, but the seat was too high, so I jumped on one, and Karina got on the other, then I tried to ride with Darren on the back.
