... of Cefalu worth mentioning is the beach just down the road. Tourist town means clean town in Sicily and that extends as far as the beach. We found the little space left between all the sun lounges for those of us too stingy to pay to go to the beach, laid out our towels and had a great swim. ... the internet. After all the other places we have stayed in this trip, we will miss having a view. However, we are only metres away from the main drag and the waterfront - maybe 300m to the beach. We had a walk around this afternoon to acquaint ourselves with the town. Sadly, we were overwhelmed by all the rubbish lying around. The place is a tip.
