Today is a day to relax and just enjoy that which we have come to love about this city, the colonial charm that resides here, the warmth of the people, and pleasant climate.

We took a nice carriage ride through the streets of Granada. Later in the afternoon, I indulged in a bargain massge and a newly opened spa right down the road from our hotel.

Though we´re eager to leave the soggy island of Roatan, we grit our teeth as our day long (five connections) air journey to Nicaragua begins. We booked ourselves on a tour of the of small islands (our first of many boat trips no doubt on this trip) and a sunset tour of the volcano Masaya to see bats and REAL lava!!....What we hadn't been prepared for was the joke snake trick that our tour guide played on us and when he told us all to all switch our torches off in the cave and then in pitch blackness he switched his torch on to reveal look girls ...
